Mary Lea Vetrone
August 26, 1957 - April 9, 2017

Mary Lea Vetrone, of Elcho, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her home. She was 59 years old. She was born on August 26, 1957 in Iola, a daughter of Joyce (Rasmussen) Resop of Elberta, Alabama and the late Malvern Patri.

She graduated from New London High School.

Mary was a cook at two local restaurants and was a school bus driver for the Elcho School District.

She loved cooking and baking. She also enjoyed fishing and trips to the casino.

Survivors include a daughter, Heather Schlender of Red Granite; two sons, Brandon Vetrone of Shawano an Ricky Vetrone of Pearson; a grandson, Christopher Schlender; a sister, Susan (Larry) Hill of Pearson; three half-brothers, Rodney Dean of North Bend, OR, Terry (Amy) Dean of Symco and Rickie Dean of Bear Creek; an uncle, Neil (MaryAnn) Rasmussen of Weyauwega; and her ex-husband, Richard Vetrone of Pearson.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Gene Patri; son-in-law, Joel Schlender and step-father, Clayton Resop.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Karen Tews officiating. Burial will take place in the Pearson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
