"Sorry to see the passing of your father and husband. Our condolences to all of you. My memories go back to high school with Rusty, Sherry, and Kirk. We saw a tornado at the farm one year that I helped cut trees with Gregory Tree Service. While in Junior College Sylvia and I delivered the Sunday paper to the farm. Very fond memories of how kind Gerald always was."

"To Marilyn, Kirk and Sherry. I wish that mere words could somehow ease your sadness, but in our hearts we know the most they can do is to simply tell you how much we care. Truly sorry that I will not be able to attend Saturday as I will be hosting the Easter egg hunt at our church in Marshalltown. Kirk, look me up on facebook and let's get caught up on the last 40 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all today and in the days to come. Steve and Joni Bruner"
