Betty L Hoene, age 91, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown.
Born on March 19, 1926 in Brownstown, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Neva (Miller) Knott. On August 18, 1946 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Borchers she married Alvin Hoene who preceded her in death on March 28, 2009.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, truly living the faith she believed. She always had time for her family and friends, touching many lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Joe (Kay) Hoene, Tim (Judy) Hoene, daughter in law, Karen Hoene, grandchildren, Eric (Johnni) Hoene, Doug (Abby) Hoene, Dan Hoene, Ben (Julie) Hoene, Derek (Brandi) Hoene, Jenni (Curt) Acton, Brad (Amanda) Hoene, Ryan (Alexa) Hoene, Wendy Nicholson, Jesse Woolsey, Zack Woolsey, Brad (Jennifer) Albert, Andy Albert, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Rebecca Woolsey, son, David W. Hoene, son-in-law, Gary Woolsey, sister, Edith Burrell and brothers, John, Joe, Melvin and Harry Knott.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Service at Borchers Chapel of St. Paul Lutheran Church, on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with Reverend Stephen Wood officiating.
Friends may call at Borchers Chapel of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Borchers on Friday after 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Borchers.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church Bus Fund or donor's choice, in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
