Mr. George Habenicht, 82 of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Covered Bridge Health Care Campus in Seymour.
George was born in Seymour, Indiana on March 11, 1935, the son of the late Anna Rohrenson and August George Habenicht.
He was a member of Hayden Baptist Church and retired from Cummins Engine Company after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his children: Janet (Alan) Randall, Ron Habenicht, Cheryl Habenicht and George Habenicht, Jr., 3 grandchildren: Michelle, Kimberly and Reid, and one sister Elsa Knoy.
George is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Robert "Bob" Habenicht and Roy Habenicht, one sister: Anita Habenicht.
Graveside service will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, April 15th, at 11:30 a.m. at Hayden Cemetery, with Rev. Mark Sorrells, officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Friday, April 14th, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
