Arnold E. Pharo
July 22, 1933 - April 13, 2017

Arnold Edward Pharo, 83, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2017 at UW Hospital - Madison, after a short illness.
Born to parents Edward and Amelia Pharo on July 22, 1933, Arnold was baptized on October 15, 1933 and confirmed on May 30, 1948 at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Mauston WI.

Arnold grew up on the family farm as the youngest of two and graduated from Mauston Area High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in Agricultural Production and Management.

Upon graduation, Arnold was hired by Production Credit Association in Baraboo WI as loan officer. He was promoted to Branch Manager of the Production Credit Association office in Richland Center WI. He worked in Ag Credit Management until he finally retired from Consumers Cooperative of Richland County in 2011. Arnold was active in the Richland Center community through the Jaycees and Lions Club.
Arnold spent most of his last years gardening, reading, corresponding via email with his far away cousins and enjoying a quiet life on the family farm in Mauston where he was raised. When farm living became too challenging, Terrace Heights Senior apartments provided a safe haven in the company of the wonderful staff and friendly neighbors.
Arnold was preceded in death by his Parents, Edward and Amelia Pharo and a sister, Edna Hanson (Pharo). He is survived by his Nephew, Edwin Hanson and Brother-in-Law, Herbert Hanson.
A memorial service will be held at St Paul's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 17th at 2 pm. Dessert and Coffee will be served after. Graveside Ceremony will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation.
