Edna Belle Koger
November 14, 1925 - April 13, 2017

Mrs. Edna Belle Koger, 91, of Burlington died at 6:01 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Great River Medical Center.
Born November 14, 1925 in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of William Jackson Lincoln and Rachael Elizabeth (Keller) Lincoln Thie. On July 5, 1943 she married Claud Koger in Burlington. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1995.
Edna moved with her family to Burlington at the age of 5. She was a warehouse clerk at Winegard for over 26 years, retiring in 1988. In her retirement she worked part time at Wendy's as a dining room person.
She enjoyed the river, was an avid reader and loved her cats. She was a loving and very patient lady.
Edna was a member of First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ and was very active in Christian Women's Fellowship. She also served as a deaconate.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Magdefrau of Springdale, Arkansas and Norma Thye of Burlington; two sons, Larry Koger of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Clancy Koger of Springdale, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Della Laue of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, her parents, step-father, and brother.
The funeral service for Mrs. Koger will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18th at First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ. Rev. David Yonker will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 17th in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends.
A memorial has been established for First Christian Church- Disciples of Christ.
