Susan "Sue" Wink Forbes Bottorff
June 30, 1947 - April 16, 2017

Mrs. Susan "Sue" Wink Forbes Bottorff, 69, of Seymour, formerly of Carrollton, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 1:03 pm at the Franciscan Health Hospital in Mooresville, Indiana.

Sue was born June 30, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Theodore and Grace T. (Bourne) Forbes.

She grew up in the Presbyterian faith in Carrollton Kentucky. When she moved to Seymour, Sue attended the First United Methodist Church. Sue enjoyed being a homemaker and stayed very active with her family and friends. Sue had an amazing gift for communication and would never forget a name. She was an individual who had a caring heart and cherished each and every person with whom she had contact with.

She was married to Jim Shelton, who is the father of her children. She then married the late John David Bottorff on August 7, 1981. He passed away January 10, 2009.

She is survived by her daughter, Molly (Chris) Marshall; son, Patrick Shelton; step-daughter, Alexandra Fettig; grandchildren, Owen Marshall, Claire Marshall, Jessie Fettig, Riley Fettig, Ellie Fettig and Jackson Roberts, sister Jennie (Rick) Norris and best friend Jean Barkman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral remembrance service will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Service at the First United Methodist Church (201 East Third Street, Seymour) on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Sandy Cooper, officiating with burial to follow at the Cortland Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, April 19th from 4 to 8 p.m. and from the church after 9:30 a.m. until time of remembrance service.
