Nancy A. Turner, 85, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Golden Living Center, Muncie, Indiana after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born May 31, 1931, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Noel and Helen (Norrick) Proctor.
Nancy was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and the Indiana Business College.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed being involved in the East Central Indiana Iris Society, painting ceramics, gardening, and cooking.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, David Turner; son, Mark Turner; daughters, Hannah (husband, David) Ridgway and Noel (husband James) Neal; two grandchildren, Jacob Ridgway and Matthew Ridgway, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack Proctor, Bill Proctor, and Ted Proctor; sister, Betty Detwiler.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Golden Living Center for their care and compassion during Nancy's illness.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
