Ruby Marie Jones, age 82, passed away April 15, 2017 in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born to the late James and Virtie Tompkins on September 23, 1934 in London, Kentucky. Ruby is survived by 9 children Grace (Frank) Hodge, Dave (Mary) Johnson, Danny (Susan) Johnson, Connie (Mike) Ivy, Rose (Marvin) Ivy, John (Brenda) Johnson, Linda (James Ivy) Martin, Adam Hayes, Floyd (Kelly) Jones; 31 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Charles (Dottie) Tompkins; sister Edna (J.D.) McQueen and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jim "Ray" Johnson; 2 grandsons Denver Scott Johnson, Luke Robert Johnson; 2 brothers; 3 sisters and 3 husbands. Funeral services are pending. The family would like to send a special thank you to Tri-County Extended Care Facility and Queen City Hospice for taking great care of their mom.
