Elda L. Miller
November 8, 1922 - April 17, 2017

Elda Miller, age 94, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, was called Home on Monday, April 17, 2017. She was born on November 8, 1922 in Gillett to the late Frank and Elsie (Strie) Zastrow. Elda married Delbert Miller on February 20, 1943. Together, Elda and Delbert celebrated 40 years of marriage, until he preceded her in death in 1983. She worked at H.C. Prange for many years and continued working part-time after her retirement. In her free time, Elda enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, gardening, baking, feeding the birds and reading the Bible.
Elda is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (James) Eland; daughter-in-law, Ellen Miller; five grandchildren, Crystal (Corrie) Williams, Mark Miller, Wendy (Wayne) Reeves, Carin (Francis) Gretzon, and James (Tanya) Eland II; 11 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; sister, Linda Haag; and brother, Theodore Zastrow.
Elda is also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Miller; great-grandson, Ricky Gretzon; sisters, Doris Steiner and Edna Rusch; and close friend, Bob Gallagher.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:15 a.m. Burial will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gillett.
Elda's family wishes to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice, Home Instead, and all of Elda's caregivers for their compassion and care.
