"We have all been blessed by this man whom we all loved dearly, he will be missed by all who knew him. When I was growing up I used to stay with uncle Melvin a week or so while mom and dad went on vacation and boy did we have a blast, Melvin back then was like a big kid and he did all kinds of fun things with us. One year my sister Shawna or Machell I can't remember which now was staying with grandma and I was staying with Melvin, mom and dad would just farm us out to whoever would take us when they went on vacation. Lol ??? anyway we went in the old milk truck to the Jackson County fair and on the way back from the fair that old truck was acting up so we began to have some fun with my younger sister about this and she got pretty scared and then wouldn't you know that dog-gone truck began to blow up and started smoking and carrying on which needless to say really freaked my little sister out and she began to really cry and was really scared. So in our defense and to save my own hide from my mother Melvin and I realized our mistake and got her calmed down, but we sat on the side of the road until it was almost dark before Eddie came to rescue us. Aside from my sister getting freaked out, Melvin and I had some pretty awesome times together, yea you bet he will be missed! Greg Caldwell (Nephew)"
