Carolyn Koenig Heeder, 78 of Kingston, died Friday, December 3, 2010 at The Kingston Hospital. She was born September 13, 1932 in Kingston to the late Frank M and Anne C Rich Koenig.
She was married to Donald W. Heeder who passed away on August 16th 2007.
Carolyn graduated from St. Peters Hospital School of Nursing in 1954 as an RN. She then worked for Albany Avenue & Orthman's Sanitarium in Kingston for many years.
Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society at Golden Hill.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy and her husband Donald R. Glass Jr. of Connelly, Lisa E. Argulewicz of Kingston and Jane T. Heeder of Kingston, brothers Michael & Paul Koenig of Kingston, sisters MaryAnn Silva of CA and Sister Isaac Jogues and Jane Regnier of IL, a granddaughter Kristine Walz and her husband Jesse of Cairo, a great-grandson Logan Austin Walz as well as several nieces nephews and cousins.
Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am
Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
Friends may call on Monday from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Golden Hill Health Care Facility, 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401
