"Polly and family, George was a wonderful person who defined the greek term Agapi. He had a love of life and his treasuresd family that transcended anything else and hehad the ability to be many things to all his friends. We loved him and are so sorry we saw him only on rare occasions in our busy lives. He is truly in God's hands today. He is finally resting in peace. His example should teach us all that what he treasured is truly the only thing other than love of God that matters in life. "

"Back around 1980, my father had a tee-shirt shop across from Mohican market. I would visit my dad for the summer. George was working at Nekos. He used to come into my father's shop and hang out. My father liked George. He asked George to chaperone me to Deitz pool as a big brother type deal. George did a great job, I always felt safe. I am shocked. So sorry and send prayers and love to his family. He will be going to a better place. Sincerely."
