John W. Jett, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Muncie, Indiana, in grandma's house the son of Jacob and Mildred (Wehlage) Jett.
John retired from Muncie Chevrolet.
He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, fishing, and camping.
John is survived by his wife, Susanne (Humerickhouse) Jett; sons, Anthony (Sara) Jett, and Owen (Rose) Jett; daughter, Tina Coughlin; sister, Marilyn (Gary) Gerbers; grandchildren, Chandon Jett and Brock McCormick.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jacob Jett.
Services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Fr. David Hellman officiating.
Visitation will be at Elm Ridge Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 West Washington Street, Suite 1180-South, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
Burial will be at the Garden's of Memory Cemetery immediately following the service.
