Mrs. Dorothy Mae Crowe Lunte, 93, of Seymour, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Lutheran Community Home inSeymour.
Dorothy was born in Seymour on August 3, 1923, the daughter of the late Roy and Nettie (Layton) Nordloh.
She married L. Dale Crowe on October 16, 1943, and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1976. She married Paul Lunte in August of 1988, who preceded her in death in January 2005.
She was a 1941 graduate of Shields High School and a 1942 graduate of Seymour Business College. She was a member ofImmanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Crowe; a sister, Martha Lee Rindahl, five grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and daughter, Toni Crowe Roovaart.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Voss & Sons Funeral Service and Crematory. No public visitation will be held. Burial will take place at a later date in Decatur, Illinois.
Her family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at the Lutheran Community Home and her many friends in Seymour.
