Virginia Ekstrand wrote on May 5, 2017:

"Dear Shawn and Patty: I am sorry to hear about the death of your mother. One is never ready to say goodbye regardless of the circumstances. Soon the happy memories will replace the sadness of these last days. Treasure them as they return. I will not be able to see you at the visitation today as I am substituting at school. Hope to see you both in person soon."

"Though I didn't know Eileen, her sister Nancy McDowell is a friend that I haven't seen for ages and can't find her address to send a card. So sorry about the death of Nancy's sister, and also so sorry about the death of Doug McDowell, Nancy's brother-in-law who died real recently, also."

Rose (Rheinschmidt) Dopler wrote on May 4, 2017:

"So sorry for your loss. Eileen, Marilyn, Mary, and I were close friends in High School. She was always the life of the party-so much fun. I also enjoyed visiting with her & Larry when they were stationed in California!"
