"Dear Sandy and family, My cousin Barb called and told me of the passing of your mother. She was such a good friend to mom at Clover Ridge, especially after dad passed away. They were so cute sharing a chair during the entertainment events. Couldn't find one without the other. I remember Mom babysat you when you were small and we rented a house in Clinton from your Uncle Jerry's parents. Lots of family connections. I thought of her today and thought I would try to see her next time I got to Maquoketa. She was a very special lady and I am glad they were able to spend some happy times together. Wishing you good memories and comforting thoughts. Debbie Hayes Gottschalk "
