Marybeth Oakes Barba, 86, of Fort Washington, PA and Cape May Point, NJ, died on May 9, 2017. Her spouse of 53 years, Milton B. (Buz) Barba predeceased her in 2005. She was a graduate of Chestnut Hill College, class of 1952. In 1995, Marybeth retired from her longtime position as a guidance counselor at Mount St. Joseph's Academy in Flourtown, PA, after 25 years of service to young women. She was always grateful to hear of their successful lives in their communities. She also enjoyed many wonderful years with many good friends and family in Cape May, NJ.

"I always enjoyed Marybeth's company the few times I had the pleasure of being in her company. I remember fondly her visit to GA with Tom and Linda and going to Grits Restaurant on the square in McDonough, GA. We had so much fun with Mom and Dad and Marybeth. Tom and Linda, I hope you're doing well through all of this. The kids too. Love, Laura"
