"I have many memories of my Aunt Beverly. My earliest memory is of her asking if I wanted to help her rake the yard of my grandparents' (her parents) house. I can see her holding the rake, and the University of Minnesota sweatshirt she was wearing. I'm fairly certain I said no. I remember the kiss she and Roger shared at their wedding; as a matter of fact, that's all I remember of that day! I had the honor of escorting her and Roger to their seats at David and Donna's wedding on that hot August day in 1988. My favorite memory, though, was just last summer. They were in town for a family reunion, and she and Roger and I went out for dinner during their visit. We were no sooner seated at our table when a woman, who was a complete stranger, came over to our table and gushed about what a darling couple (her words exactly) Beverly and Roger were! Bev was a little taken aback, but she was a little tickled, too. And you know what? The woman was right! My sympathies to all the Olsons. You are in my thoughts and prayers. -Jon Wallin"
