Bruce Stanley Jones

Mr. Bruce Stanley Jones, 77, of Wever died at 5:49 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Klein Center of Great River Medical Center.
Born June 14, 1939 in Carman, Illinois, he was the seventh child of Harvey Walker and Veda Elnora (Headley) Jones.
Mr. Jones was a 1958 graduate of Gorin High School in Gorin, Missouri. He entered the Marine Corps on October 15, 1964 and was honorably discharged on October 15, 1967.
He worked as a machinist at C.E. Richards Co. in Arcadia, California from 1967 until 2000.
Survivors include his four sisters, Elnora Reynolds and Martha (Don) Hancock both of Burlington, Barbara (Dale) Ruth of West Burlington, and Carol (Daryl) McCulley of Mount Pleasant; several nieces and nephews; one special nephew, Thomas Jones Jr. and his sons, Thomas and Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, Thomas, and George; and a sister, Edna in infancy.
According to Mr. Jones' wishes there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
