"Dear Cousins Alan and Jane and families, I am so very sorry that you have lost your father! He was a great uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. All of Peter and Fredericke Stampe's children are now passed away, and it's the end of a huge and interesting chapter in our family history. However,we won't forget your Dad and the Stampe family. My parents often talked fondly of your parents, and they shared many good memories of times together while living in Iowa. I know you will miss LeRoy! Take good care. Cousin Nancy"
