Dora Ella Frederick McMillan, 98, passed away peacefully in Shoreline, Washington on May 18, 2017. She was born April 5, 1919 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Noah Joseph and Dora Belle Frederick. In Centralia, Illinois, Dora met Charles, the boy next door and the love of her life. In 1939 they were married and built a life together for over 66 years. Dora had been a long time resident of the Seattle area, she worked for Boeing in support of the World War II effort and, for 40 years, as a secretary for a local credit union.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband Charles. Above all things, Dora loved and was devoted to her family. She is survived by her 3 children Chuck, Deborah and Tim, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren with one more on the way.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Evergreen Memorial Park. Words of comfort may be expressed for Dora's family by clicking on the Tributes tab just below her name.
