† Julia Ann Albarado Cortez †, 82, entered eternal life with Jesus her Lord peacefully from her home with her family by her side on Friday, May 26, 2017. She was born in Miles, Texas, and is preceded into the Presence of God by her parents Margarito & Elidia Albarado; and her only son, Donald Jake Cortez. Julia was a faithful servant of the Lord who had a passion for caring for others, especially the elderly. After a rewarding career, she retired from Baptist Memorial and continued to care and pray for all those she dearly loved. Julia is survived by her daughters, Deborah & Joe Flores of Abilene, TX; Nora Roberts; Dorothy & Johnny Ochoa; Julia Richey, all of San Angelo, TX; DeeAnn & Fabian Villalobos; daughter-in-law Sylvia Cortez all of Irving, TX, and three generations of grandchildren. She had a very special relationship with her granddaughters, Selena, Roxanne, & Jada who shared her home and whom she helped raise as her own children. A Celebration of Life begins with Viewing at 9AM with The Holy Rosary at 7PM on Tuesday, May 30th at Johnson's Funeral Home and Holy Mass on Wednesday, May 31st, at 10AM at St Mary's Catholic Church with Interment at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Marc Flores, Jimmy Salas, JR. Ochoa, Jonathan Ochoa, Joshua Kemp, and Joseph Kemp. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of San Angelo, POB 471, San Angelo, TX 76902.We especially thank Shirley, Debbie, Elena, Ray & Ian of HOSA, for their compassion & kindness to our family.
