"John and Bob I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mother was such an inspiration to me. It was because of her I went to Nursing School. "

Peter Stroth wrote on Jun 3, 2017:

"I knew Anne from our four simultaneous years at BRHS. My wife Ann Stroth followed Anne Carr Whiteman as evening RN supervisor at Lafayette Home Hospital beginning in the fall of 1961. Anne Carr Whiteman did such an outstanding job there that, since my wife had the same school credentials - just one year newer - my wife was hired on the spot when she applied at LHH. That nursing supervisor job supplied the income to put me through two grad school degrees at Purdue's Krannert School. We have always felt a big debt of gratitude to Anne for preparing the smooth way at LHH for my Ann. I interestingly - the two girls did not meet until many years later even though they both attended IU BSN nursing training in Indianapolis . Thank you Anne for the well done job. Peter Stroth, BRHS Class of 1956."

"Anne was surely a bright, shining light to all who knew & loved her. She was the "mover & shaker" behind our BRHS Class of '56 reunions and the reason they have kept strong all these years. Her caring heart for people will be greatly missed in this world & most of all by her family. May your hearts be comforted by God's love & all the prayers that surround you right now. Sent with our heartfelt sympathy & our prayers. Janet(Gene) Friedley Carlson"
