Eugene Ciszak
October 31, 1947 - June 6, 2017

Eugene "Butch" Edward Ciszak, 69, of Goodview, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on October 31, 1947 in Winona to Delos and Eunice (Keller) Ciszak. He worked for himself in construction and owned a hotel in Spring Valley, MN. He enjoyed hunting, especially pheasants, fishing, camping, and the MN Vikings! Eugene was most proud of his children and grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Burr.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Hemmelman); daughter, Tina (Jeff) Abrams; son, Scott Ciszak; grandchildren, Aaron (Katie Franklin) and Brittany (Joe Halling); siblings, Charles, Francis (Karen), David, Suzanne (John) Birch, Mary (James) Gunn, Katherine (Richard) Lande, and Donna (Kevin) Boland; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delos and Eunice; and sisters Karen and Lorrie.
A memorial service for Butch will be held at 12:30 on Saturday, June 10 with visitation starting at 11 AM at the Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview. Celebrant Ashley Hoff-Czaplewski will be leading the service.
