Barbara Jean Boyd, 87, of Allison, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison in Allison, Iowa. She was born February 25, 1930, in Kankakee, Illinois, to Alfred Alexander and Veda Myrl (Gray) Ward. Barbara graduated from La Center High School in La Center, Kentucky. She was a member of Baptist Church, Eastern Star and PEO. Barbara enjoyed professional baseball - Miami Marlins and Chicago Cubs. She especially loved her grandchildren, pizza and hot dogs. Barbara is survived by her three sons Larry Boyd of Marietta, Georgia, Charles Boyd of Parkland, Florida and Jeff Boyd of Ponder, Texas, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty.
