Patricia Mae Donahe
July 28, 1938 - June 30, 2017

Patricia Donahe, 78, of Webster City, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Father Stephen Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fosters and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Patricia Mae Tracy, daughter of John and Verna Pettigrew Tracy, was born July 28, 1938, in St. Joseph, MO. She was a part of the first graduating class in 1956 from St. Edmond High School in Fort Dodge and attended Creighton University. She married Larry Dean Donahe on September 6, 1958 at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Fort Dodge. The couple resided in Fort Dodge until moving to Webster City in 1978. Patricia was a local business woman, who co- owned and operated Central Stationery and later 2nd Street Seconds Consignment Shop in Webster City.
Patricia is survived by her children, Angie (Mick Chambers) Anderson of Webster City, Pam (Doug) Rushton of Fort Dodge, Luke (Georgie) Donahe of West Des Moines, Molly (John) Ferrell of Webster City; grandchildren; Zach (Abby) Trent, Sierra Anderson, Katie Rushton, Kyle Rushton, Kayla Donahe, Brett Donahe, John Ferrell, Bryan Ferrell, Nathan Ferrell; one great-grandson, Karson Trent; siblings, John (Fay) Tracy of CO, Tage (Linda) Tracy of CA, Margaret Tracy of CO, Kae Turco of NE, Mike (Jan) Tracy of IA, Carol (Darrell) Condon of KS, Terri (Brad) Deters of MN, Mary (Dave) Dougherty of CO and Mark (Penny) Tracy of IA; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry on October 1, 2010.
Patricia was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and bridge, jigsaw puzzles, trips to Las Vegas, crocheting and cross stitching. She was a patient woman who loved being a mother and taking care of her family.

"Although I did not know Patricia personally her husband Larry was my first cousin, I do not live in Iowa so never got to know Patricia. But I do send my thoughts of sympathy at this time to your family.
