Marie Aurora (Pizarro Miller) Simmons, born 1938 in Sterling, Illinois, died July 3, 2017 in Longmont, CO.
Marie's working life was that on an L.P.N. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading and playing cards. She married Elbert Leo Simmons on July 3, 1958. They later divorced. She later married Houston Miller.
Marie is survived by her children: Katherin Franklin, Anthony (Mary) Simmons and Larry (Margi) Simmons; her brother Leroy (Norma) Pizarro, her sister Rita (Carl) Churlin, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her first husband Elbert Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her husband Houston Miller, her parents Henry and Ruth (Perez) Pizarro, brothers Anthony and Henry Jr. Pizarro, sisters Mary Pandola and Esther Pizarro.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. No services are scheduled.
