Vincent Paul Tonissen
December 11, 1950 - July 7, 2017

Vincent Paul Tonissen, 66, passed away July 7, 2017, at his Englewood Florida home. He was born December 11, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. Vincent was the loving husband of Marilyn (Monaco) for 45 years and the devoted father of Daniel Glenn Tonissen. He is the loving brother of Steven (Debbie) Tonissen, Mary Ann (David) Wayer, Patricia Tonissen, and Kathryn (Joseph) Pecora. He is the caring brother-in-law to Danette (late Michael) McDonald, Michael (Diane) Monaco, Valerie (Edward) Murphy and Diane Spadoni. He is the loving Godfather to Eric, Jerry and David. Vince is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Vincent served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve and spent most of his career repairing office equipment before his retirement in 2007. He was an active member of the Moose, Coastal Wildlife Club and Gulf Thunder Riders Motorcycle Club.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood, Florida. On Thursday July 13, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. a procession will leave Lemon Bay Funeral Home lead by the Gulf Thunder Riders to St. Raphael's Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael's beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Donations can be made in Vincent's name to Tidewell Hospice.
Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
