Paula Zacher Circelli

Paula Zacher Circelli, passed away suddenly on July 1st, 2017, beloved wife of Robert A. Circelli, loving mother of Jordyn Dunsworth, stepmother of Jessica (Keith) Hill and Matthew (Rebekah Hall) Circelli, grandmother of Aidan, Blake, Camden, Kinsley and Emma, daughter of the late Irwin and Laverne Zacher. Much loved sister of Thomas (Donna) Zacher and Cathy (David) Lombardi. Also survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, her life-long best friend Mary Emanuele, and many friends in Pittsburgh and Punta Gorda.

Paula had an illustrious and successful working career. Most recently she was a Sales Director at Dex Media for over ten years. Also notable, she was a Mary Kay Sales Director who drove a pink Buick Regal as a sign of her success.

She retired one year ago upon arrival to her new home in Punta Gorda, Florida. She embraced her new lifestyle in many capacities. She loved her rescue dog Benny who became a certified pet therapy dog, together they visited patients in area hospitals on Mondays. She was a volunteer at the Animal Welfare League, a member of a Card Club, a Bunco Club, and as an avid reader, a Book Club. She was also a member of the Real Housewives of Deep Creek Club where she and Robert had made their new home.

She was an all-round athlete her whole life. It began in her childhood on the pool club swim team and state backstroke champion, to a pitcher on many company softball teams, to skiing all over the world, a good golfer by any standard, and most of all, she loved to take long walks with her husband Robert and their dog Benny, as well as her dearest friends. Her family and friends were her life.

She had traveled the world in her lifetime and had lived in many cities and countries. Her life was an adventure. Paula knew the secret to life. The secret to life is to live your life.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday July 15th at St. Irenaeus Church, 387 Maryland Ave, Oakmont 15139.

In lieu of flowers to honor Paula, we welcome your donations to the Animal Welfare League, 3519 Drance St. Port Charlotte, FL 33980, or the National Stroke Association, 9707 Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112.

" Please except my condolences. The pain of losing someone we love to death is a pain that never truly goes away. A comfort that can help at times like this, is a promise from our Heavenly Father. He promises in the near future to swallow up death forever & to wipe tears from all of our eyes. This is a happy thought to meditate on in sad times like this. (Isaiah 25:8). "
