Betty and Ollie were very special people and for a time were like a second family to me. They were there for me many, many years ago when no one else would be. Elizabeth Mary (Dye) Clark of Buffalo NY, Marietta Ohio and Indianapolis IN, passed away peacefully Monday July 10, 2017 at the age of 93. Married 69 years to Oliver, Betty was a loving wife, mother, proudly a reference librarian at Marietta College (Marietta Ohio) and college graduate, University of Buffalo, 1945.
She was a dedicated church member of the United Methodist Church, Buffalo NY. Preceded in death by her husband (Oliver K Clark), children Sharon Clark Heberlig, Richard Oliver Clark and missed by her daughter Laura Clark Sipe (Sam). Remembered by her family Dean Heberlig (Ann), niece Kimberly Dye (Ken), cousin Jan Cordes (Dar), grandchildren Brian Heberlig (Jodie Valarie), Christoper Heberlig (Sandra), Laura Lautz (Colin), Gregory Clark (Catherine), Samuel A Sipe, Colin Sipe (Shelby) and her great-grandchildren Quinn, Marin & Beck Heberlig, Sarah & Ryan Heberlig, Sharon & Aidan Lautz, Morgan & Elizabeth Clark and Harrison & Coraline Sipe.
Special thanks to the kind and wonderful caregivers from Traditions At Solona, Friends of the Family and Premier Hospice for making Betty's passing from this life easier & more peaceful.
There will be a memorial service at St. Luke's Methodist Church at 4pm Saturday July 15th.
