Jon was born in Denver, CO, grew up in Casper, WY, attended Natrona County HS, Casper College, University of Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1966. He practiced law in Denver and Glenwood Springs prior to moving to Englewood, FL in 2000.

His favorite sporting activity was fishing...whether it be fly fishing in Colorado or deep sea excursions off the Florida Gulf Coast. He was an
Avid Broncos fan and monitored their website daily.

Jon is survived by his wife Barbara Kidneigh, Daughters Kimberly Biscoe, Jodi Kidneigh, and Lori Terry; Granddaughters Jessica Villarreal, Sarah McGee; Grandsons Jeremy Villarreal, Christopher Whalen and Michael Whalen; Great Grandsons Andy Villarreal and Michael and Zayden Backhaus; Sisters Karen Norberg and Jacque Davis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 1270 Poplar Street, Denver, CO 80220 on Friday July 21 at 11 a.m.
