Ruth Kammerer, 82, of Pacific Junction, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs. Ruth's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services at this time.
Ruth Arlene was born on February 13, 1935 in Nebraska City, Nebraska, the daughter of Kenneth Arthur and Dorothy A. (Schomaker) Cowperthwait. She graduated from high school in Louisville, Nebraska. Ruth worked in food service at a nursing home.
Ruth married Eldon Lee Kammerer on December 8, 1954 in Hiawatha, Kansas.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter Elda Lynn Parks. She is survived by her husband Eldon of Pacific Junction.
