Conroy, Edward A., of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Edward was a Lieutenant for the New York Police Department for 27 years and 15 years for the Port Everglades-BSO.
He is survived by his daughter, Honey Rosengarten, son-in-law Dean and granddaughter, Lauren. He is preceded in death by his wife Eileen.

"My love and condolences to Honey, Lauren and Dean.. Honey, your Dad was the best and he will be missed greatly.. He was a great inspiration to me when I was growing up... I loved playing cards with him, your mom and my parents. He was so full of knowledge, had great stories and taught me a lot about people and taking care of yourself . I always remember him with his vitamins . I looked so forward to his visits, he warm, engaging and real.. I always walked away laughing and feeling happy..
