Linda Faye Hollars, 67, Hesperia, California, passed away Saturday morning, July 8, 2017, at her residence.
She was born November 28, 1949, in Whites Addition, West Virginia, the daughter of James Ray and Alfretta "Madge" Adkins. Linda attended Muncie city schools. She once was employed by Pepsi Cola Company, where she was a bottle inspector. She was a self employed artist, she handmade angel dolls, and angel lamps, made by Linda of My Breath of Heaven Creations. She moved to California in 1998 as an entrepreneurial artist in the area where she lived.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Hollars, two sons, Brett (wife, Amy) Barrett, Memphis, Tennessee, and John R. McCreery, Hesperia, California; mother, Alfretta "Madge" Bullard, Muncie; one brother, Elbert Ray Adkins; one sister, Sharon (husband Garry) Roberts, both of Muncie; two grandsons, Byrce Barrett, and Brylan Barrett; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews, and one great great niece and one great great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Ray Adkins; two sisters, Vanetta Brown, and Alfretta Sewell.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304, by Pastor Dennis Trimble. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
Family and friends may call at Elm Ridge Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday.
