Patsy L. Cline, 83, of Burlington died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017, at Blair House in Burlington.
Born August 9, 1933 in Burlington she was the daughter of William and Marie Paige Neufner. On November 11, 1951 at Bethany Lutheran Church she married Oscar R. Cline. He preceded her in death on July 1st, 2014.
Patsy worked for Bock's Greenhouse, Champion, and Antennacraft before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, the Home Shopping Network, traveling, bowling, and being with her family. Patsy and her husband Oscar took their motorhome all the way to Alaska once.
Survivors include one daughter; Pamela (Thomas) Newberry Sr. of Burlington; one son, Richard Oscar (Tracy Koett) Cline of Burlington; six grandchildren, William Oscar Newberry, Thomas Michael Newberry, Michelle "Shelly" Lynn Renteria, Amber Blynn Cline, Mackenzie Marie Cline, and Huy Nguyen; and eight great grandchildren.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two half-sisters and two half-brothers.
Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service for Patsy L. Cline will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18th at Lunning Chapel. Pastor Ryan Cosgrove will be officiating with interment in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A Memorial has been established for Great River Hospice.
