Arthur Edwin Taylor
April 23, 1929 - July 24, 2017

Arthur Edwin Taylor, 88, a former resident of Louisville, Kentucky, and Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017, at Elmcroft Senior Living in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Arthur was born on April 23, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Edwin Arthur and Minetta (Rostel) Taylor. He was later united in marriage to Wilma Lee Freeman who preceded him in death on February 14, 2001. Latter he was married to Rilla Hinton until 2010. Arthur was a graduate of Amundsen High School and went on to graduate from North Western University with a BS in Business Administration. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Brooksville, Florida.

Arthur is survived by his son Scott A. (Laura) Taylor and daughter Sheri (David) Ripple and five grandchildren: Christopher Lee Ripple, Colin Arthur Edwin Taylor, Noah Scott Taylor, Seth Alan Taylor and Rose Lauren Taylor.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers at 917 Blondeau Street in Keokuk, Iowa. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Keokuk. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 to 8 PM, with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 PM at DeJong-Greaves.

"Remember both Art and Wilma fondly. Art sang in the choir at St Paul Episcopal Church in Louisville. It was Art who convinced me to try a Hyundai Sonata over the Camry I had been driving. I also remember he was quite a craftsman. So sorry for your loss. "
