MUSCATINE, Iowa - Patricia A. Whitmore, 82, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at home.
Graveside service for Donald and Patricia Whitmore was held on 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Mary Barnard, P.O. Box 341, Muscatine, Iowa 52761. A time of food and fellowship will follow the graveside service at Members Community Credit Union, Community Room. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Patricia was born on June 20, 1934, in Clinton, the daughter of Jake and Agnus (Fergenson) Schneider. She married Donald Whitmore on August 9, 1953 in Sabula, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2014.
She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, reading, and she loved spending time with family.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Barnard and Steve Barnes, of Letts, son, Karry Whitmore and Tatina Grenko, of Letts, son, Barry Whitmore of Hillsdale, Illinois, son, Gary Whitmore and wife, Marlies, of Muscatine, sister, Kaye Hess of Clinton, cousins, Chuck and JoAnne, Larry, and Penny, all of Clinton; grandchildren, Amy Peiffer, John Barnard, Toni Whitmore, April Sue Moore-Hernandez, Nathan Whitmore, David Scott Bunn; and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband; one sister, Donna Schipper; and two sons, Richard Whitmore in infancy, and Larry Whitmore.
