Delores 'Delci'
July 24, 1940 - July 10, 2017

On Monday, July 10th her spirit was released from her worn out shell of a body and now is exploring the universe.

On July 24th, 1940, Delci was born on East 12th Street in a small house in Spencer to Harvey and Gladys Rose Davis.

Dr. King delivered Delci and told her mom it was twins. Delci, a baby girl, and the other was a turd.

Delci attended elementary school in Spencer and then finished school in Kansas City.

On August 15th, 1957, Delci married Robert Bressman.

At the age of fourteen, she started working at Bishop Cafeteria, digging potatoes in Idaho, living off the land at Wolf Lake, where she hunted ginseng, and ate all kinds of animals. She continued on to work at the Daily Reporter in Spencer as well as K-mart in Spencer, California, and Colorado.

Delci enjoyed trying new things, including plays, 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'The Music Man'. She enjoyed doing crafts, making candles,

traveling and genealogy.

Delci is survived by four wonderful children, Debra Campbell, Peggy (Rick) Reineke, Barbara (Mike) Roberts and Chad Bressman. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She knew they all are headed for great things. Her brothers and sisters, Shirley Ganzevoort, Judy Vogel, Norman Spooner, Colleen Hoffard, Loren Spooner, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and enemies.

Everyone is asked to celebrate Delores's memory in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink to her memory. Her favorite was Dr. Pepper on ice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Davis, Gladys Rose Smoot and her husband, Robert Bressman, and her brother, Richard Davis,

And a sister Marcella Spooner.

In lieu of flowers, Delores prefers memorials to help with medical expenses or a good time.
