David Harms
May 6, 1933 - July 22, 2017

David Harms Klooster was born at rural Magnolia, MN on May 6, 1933 to John (Jack) Klooster & Ann Buus. He spent his early years in Southwestern, MN.



He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 and was stationed in Korea.



Dave married Elaine Dirks in 1956 and they had three children together.



On November 10, 1974 Dave married Sylvia Engelhart. They spent many wonderful years together in Mankato, MN, Gig Harbor, WA, and Clinton, IA before settling in Webb in 1998.



He loved fishing, camping, motorcycling, and spending time with family & friends.



Dave attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Webb.



He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, two sons Terry (Jo) Klooster of Solon, IA, Daniel (Donna) Klooster of Maquoketa, IA, and one daughter, Charlotte Wiebenga of Clinton, IA. Two brothers - Lawrence (Lorraine) Klooster of Luverne, MN and Dale Klooster of Mankato, MN. He was also blessed with four step-children, Vicki Stark of Tacoma, WA, Raymond Engelhart of Atlanta, GA, Richard Engelhart of Tumwater, WA, & Charlie (Tina) Engelhart of Lakewood, WA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.



Dave was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Dick Klooster and Donald Klooster, and three sister-in-laws.
