Often he was the first in and last out of the office, truly dedicated to the Mission of the Salvation Army through his efforts in the finance department. He is missed at the Army !"

"I worked with Jeff for four or five years at The Salvation Army in Nashville. He was kind, funny, and clever. Whenever we got in a tight spot in his department, he would try to work around the hard stuff and make it all work, and I am sure, put himself out for others even more than we ever knew. He was an amazing guy and we pray comfort over his family and that God carry you with peace and bring good memories to your minds and hearts. Ernie Simms "

"I am deeply sorry to hear of Jeff's passing! He was a gentle sweet soul! His dry humor kept everyone in stitches! Even though he wanted to appear annoyed by us all at The Salvation Army in Nashville, he secretly enjoyed being bothered by us! I miss him and I hope he knows the level sorrow that we all feel! He was extremely helpful and would secretly go out of his way to help anyone but only secretly as to not ruin his image! "

"LeRoy, Betty, David & Amy I am very sorry for your loss. I watched Jeff grow up and into a great young man. Although he didn't say much, he was always thinking and had an answer or solution to whatever the topic might be. I know I had some good laughs with Jeff at nationals and on the golf course. Jeff has gone to a wonder place now but I know he left a lot of memories for so many people. May God's loving arms hold all of you close during this time of sorrow. "

"I was so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. My prayers are with the family. Jeff and I worked together at the Salvation Army in Nashville for several years. We shared many talks about the Royals and how they could be fixed. :) Jeff told me where to get the best BBQ in KC when I went for a game. Most of all, Jeff did his job for the ministry and people with an impressive dedication. He always beat me to the office and usually left after I was gone.
