"Allen family, So sorry to hear of your loss, Dorothy told Patty and I not to send Cassie to school too soon . We took her advice, it was good as she thrived being one of the oldest instead of one of the youngest in her class. I am sorry but I will be out of town for her visitation and funeral, my best to all."

"Jim, John, Rex, Rick and family, Learned today of Dorothy's passing. While saddened with the news, I quickly reflected on the many, many fond memories of time spent laughing and sharing good times. Oh how she enjoyed the Saturday night pinochle parties. As we reflect on the life of yet another member of Farragut's history, may you find comfort in your many memories of her full and good life. Our thoughts are with you at this time....Dwight & Connie Durfey"
