Edward Gene Bickford
March 7, 1945 - July 31, 2017

Edward G. Bickford, 72, of Moline, Illinois, passed away on Monday morning, July 31, 2017, at the St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Moline, Illinois.

Public graveside services and burial celebrating Edward's life will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Maquoketa. There is no public visitation. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.

Edward Gene Bickford was born on March 7, 1945 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Jake and Anna (Noonan) Bickford.

Edward had worked at John Deere in Moline, Illinois in various positions for 39 years until retirement.

Edward enjoyed reading, and his pet Great Pyrenees dogs over the years.

Those left to honor Edward's memory include a step-daughter Kathy (Jamie) Spicklemeir of Las Vegas, NV; 2 granddaughters; a niece Staci (Randy) Sinning of Maquoketa, IA; nephews, Terry Pinaire of California and Bruce Pinaire of California; and a sister Judy Woods of Maquoketa, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sonia, brothers Floyd Bickford and Dwight Bickford, and a sister Shirley Govang.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Edward G. Bickford memorial fund has been established.
