Age 77 of Pine City formerly of St. Paul. Loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma & Sister passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 3, 2017. Helga was born in Wendelstein by Nurnberg, Germany on February 2, 1940.
Helga is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johann Michael Volkert.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James; children, Michael (LeAnn), Cindy (Chris) LeMire, Renee (Doug) Dickinson, Carla (Bill) Buesseler; grandchildren, Lauren, Craig, Aaron, Erika, Brandon, Elizabeth, Abby, Dana, Allison; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Patrick; sister, Ingrid (Peter) Kuehnert; niece, nephews, beloved family in Germany & friends.
Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday, August 6th at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, August 7th with visitation beginning one hour prior at Church of St. Peter, 1250 S Shore Dr., Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart or American Lung Association.
