Jerry Lee Faulkner
February 19, 1944 - August 3, 2017

Jerry Faulkner 73, of Webster City, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Craig Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Jerry Lee Faulkner, son of Thomas and Elizabeth Erdman Faulkner was born on February 19, 1944 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1962 and attended Webster City Junior College. He served in the United States Air Force from 1965 until 1985, serving two tours in Vietnam. He worked for the City of Webster City as a groundskeeper for Graceland Cemetery. He also owned his own yard maintenance and snow removal business.

Survivors include his sisters, Patricia (Ron) Wilson of Storm Lake, Judy (Wayne) Ross of Sun City West, AZ; nephews, John (Kelly) Behrens of Davenport, IA, Matthew (Tiffany) Wilson of Eden Prairie, MN, Brian (Brianne) Wilson of Algona; nieces, Susan Wilson of Minneapolis, MN, Jennifer (Jeff) Christiansen of Carrollton, TX and many cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in infancy, Tommy Dewayne Faulkner.

Jerry was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #191. He took great pride in his yard maintenance for the City of Webster City. He was honored to participate in the Brushy Creek Honor Flight on September 17, 2016. Jerry took great pride in serving his country. He was a hard worker and an avid fan of his "Beloved Hawkeyes." He loved helping others and could always be counted on to be there!
