Sigourney- Stefanie L. Young was born September 19, 1976 in Sigourney, Iowa the daughter of Richard Arlo and Gloria Jean Young. She attended English Valleys Community Schools. After high school she worked for Pizza Hut in Sigourney and later Bonnie's Diner. Stefanie was a member of the South English Baptist Church and a volunteer for the North English Community Center. She died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her home in Sigourney, at the age of 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter Haley Nicoli of Sigourney; her mother Gloria Jean Young; four brothers Scott (Laurie) Young of Ketchum, OK, Galen (Cara) Young of Cedar Rapids, Russell (Mary) Young of Oskaloosa, Bill (Terri) Young of Sigourney; and a sister Mary Brissee of Sigourney. She was preceded by her father Richard Arlo Young.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. A general memorial fund has been established. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
