Obituary: Janet Marie Dwyer-Worthington, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Fort Worth, TX. She was 57. Janet was born on May 16, 1960 in Fort Worth, TX to her parents, LeRoy Byrns and Patsy Blackmon. She married Gerald Worthington on February 16, 1980. They were married for 37 years and had two daughters. Janet enjoyed spending her days as a grandmother with her four beautiful grandchildren. Janet is survived by her husband Gerald Worthington of Cartwright, OK; her daughter and son-in law Monica and Chung Winbish of Calera, OK; her daughter and son-in-law Chrystal and Sam Mendoza of Fort Worth, TX; her mother Patsy Dwyer of Fort Worth, TX; her father LeRoy Byrns of Fort Worth, TX; her step-father James Dwyer of North Richland Hills, TX; her brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Kathy Dwyer of Cartwright, OK; her brother and sister-in-law Kenny and Kerrie Dwyer of Arlington, TX; her brother and sister-in-law Bert and Sherry Byrns of Keller, TX; her sister Melissa Byrns of Joshua, TX; her brother Mike Byrns of Keene, TX; her four grandchildren Erik, Alyssa, Lukas, and Leia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard; her grandfather "Poppa"; and her grandmother "Mama Ruth". A memorial service will be held at 12:00p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Legacy Baptist Church located at 5500 Boat Club Road Fort Worth, TX 76135 with Pastor Philip Hickman officiating. In lieu of flowers, condolences can be given to Janet's family and friends.
