Stanley L Hartzell passed away peacefully on Saturday August 19,2017 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born November
7, 1957 in Houston Texas.
Stanley was well-known for his time and dedication to Englewood Little League where he spent timeless hours in the concession for the past 10 years. Prior to his work in the concession stand Stanley helped coach his son's baseball team.
He is survived by his wife Shelly Hartzell, his son Jonathan Hartzell, step children Jennifer Johnson and Nathan Myers, his sister Wanda Robinson, and brother Barry Hartzell, grandchildren Kayla Johnson, David Cramer, Kayden Manning and Jace Hartzell.
He was preceded in death by his father Earl Hartzell, mother Doris Hartzell and brother Earl Dwane Hartzell.
There will be visitation to celebrate Stanley's life from 5:00 to 7:00
Wednesday August 23 at the Lemon Bay funeral Home on Dearborn St. Englewood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Englewood Little
League or Sarasota Human Society.
