January 12, 1925 - August 25, 2017
Ann Porte passed away Friday August 25, 2017 at her home in Venice, FL at age of 92. Ann was born in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. She later moved to Michigan where she spent much of her life with her husband Frank Porte. There they raised their family and owned and operated Aircraft Accessories Overhaul in Ypsilanti, MI.
Ann is survived by her son, Ron L. Porte (Mary) of Clinton, TN and daughter Carol Haviaras of Venice who lived with and cared for Ann in her later years. Grandchildren, Scott Haviaras (Darcy) of North Port, FL, Michelle Miller (Jason Shaw) of Canada, Lisa Kelley (Shawn) of Canada & 10 grandchildren as well as a Sister in-law Catherine Chaffee of Midland, MI
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, son Frank E, sister Sophie Lafond and granddaughter Rose Anderson.
Graveside internment will be Friday September 1 at 1:00 pm at Gulf Pines Memorial Park 2401 Englewood Rd. Englewood, FL. Condolences may be sent to 1404 Pierce Drive Venice, FL 34293
