Martha Joan Henry, 87, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017.
Martha was a native of Fort Worth, born Nov. 7, 1929 to the late W.W and L.M Hall. Martha was a woman of her faith. She and her husband attended Christ Church Assembly of God for 24 years. There she helped with the Prayer Service helping people in need of prayer. There wasn't a person she would not help. Martha always involved and surrounded her family and life around church.
Martha was preceded in death by her son, James Michael Alvis; daughter, Beverly Alvis; granddaughter, Marcie Goode; and numerous siblings.
Survivors: Husband, Charles Henry; daughters, Linda Alvis, Decakay Lewis; daughter-in-law, Janet Alvis; eight grandchildren; brother, John Hall; and numerous family and friends.
